Immense Issues Recording With Quest 2
Hello!
So I'll try to make this as concise as possible:
I'm trying to record Into the Radius.
I've tried recording using the built in Camera, but the footage always crashes anywhere between 4 and 30 minutes in, corrupting the footage.
Steps I've taken to try to resolve this:
- Turned down all the recording settings to lowest for least impact on the device.
- Factory reset my headset to default settings and downloaded ONLY Into the Radius. 110gb of free space left on the device for recording storage, so it isn't lack of storage.
- Set an infinite play space area so passing through the boundaries isn't causing the recording to stop.
- Pointed a standing fan directly at the headset during play so it doesn't overheat. Stays as cool as as a breeze.
- My headset is kept on a 100% stable internet connection at all times.
- Hard reset my headset before every recording session to potentially clear any cache issues.
Additionally, I have attempted to cast my headset through the Horizon app to my phone and record from there. Similar issue, the CAST will stay connected, but the recording (which is now being done through my phone) will ALSO crash anywhere between 4 and 30 minutes in, corrupting the footage in the exact same way.
I'm at my wits end, I feel like I'm going crazy. All I want to do is record footage. No mic, just game and audio.
Please help me. I have no idea what could be left to troubleshoot. What is causing the recording to randomly stop and corrupt all the footage.
