Nostril inflamed. change jewellery??
I got my nostril pierced with a gun about a month ago (I know, not ideal), and it’s been pretty inflamed. It’s not severely painful, but it’s red, irritated, and doesn’t seem to be settling. The jewellery they used is just a regular butterfly-back earring, and it falls out fairly often, so I’ve had to reinsert it multiple times which probably isn’t helping. I have a surgical steel nose stud from Crazy Factory that I could switch to (I bought so I could use them once healed. L shaped and a labret), but I know it’s not implant-grade and I’m currently short on money so I can’t afford high-quality jewellery from a proper piercer right now. Would it be better to carefully switch to the surgical steel stud for stability, or should I leave the current jewellery in and just focus on aftercare?
I wrote this 3 days ago and posted it but nobody replied 💔 tonight my jewellery got stuck on my glasses while I was cleaning it and I accidentally yanked it out. Which ended up with the piercing hole bleeding due it being pulled out out
