Separate images and videos?

Do you need to separate images and videos?

I was told that image ads can take most of the spend when put together with videos?

Working with a smaller budget, should I separate video and images into 2 different ad sets?

Advice I hear sometimes from CHATGPT and others:

  1. Test 3-5 ads.
  2. turn OFF "losers"
  3. do not have too many creatives on, it spreads too thin.

Do you really need to limit the number of ads?

Because from what I've seen is that meta puts 80% of budget in like top 20% of creatives...

Do you really need to turn off "losers"?

Does too many creatives really ruin performance?

Also, how much of this technical media buying stuff really matter?

Please provide reasoning.

Please do not reply if you don't have a strong understanding.
