Melbourne people — easy extra $400 with DoorDash referral

If anyone in Melbourne is thinking about starting DoorDash/Uber-style delivery work, DoorDash currently has a referral bonus where you can earn an extra $400 after completing the required number of deliveries.
Flexible hours and decent side money honestly.
DM me if you want the referral link/details.

Hi all,
I’m an international student in Victoria currently riding on an international licence. I recently got pulled over at a traffic light by two motorcycle police officers.
They told me my helmet (double D-ring type) wasn’t fastened correctly. I wasn’t aware I was wearing it incorrectly, as I hadn’t used this type of helmet before in my home country. One of the officers showed me the correct way to fasten it, which I appreciated, but I was still issued a $407 fine and 3 demerit points.
They also mentioned the demerit points would transfer to my Victorian licence once I get one.
This is my first offence here, and I fully cooperated and fixed the issue immediately after being shown. I feel like a warning might have been more appropriate, but I understand they can still issue a fine.
My questions:
Is it worth requesting an internal review in Victoria?

What grounds would apply in this situation (if any)?

Has anyone had success getting something like this downgraded to a warning?

Or is it more realistic to just pay the fine and move on?
Thanks in advance.
