I just got home from college and see this thing and I have no idea what it is!

This daith is about 4 months old and he had this bump for so long. This is the biggest it’s been and i don’t know why. I don’t touch it or turn the hoop and I spray it 1-2x a day with saline.

Is this going to hurt the plant? Should I remove them and do something to prevent them from regrowing? It’s in this north facing window receiving light whenever the suns out and I water when the soil is dry when I stick my finger in.
