Online driver pay rate?

Hi all,

I came out of an interview for an online driver position at my local Asda (outside of London), having been told I've all but been offered the job contract.

One topic which my interviewer (an online manager) brought up was that of pay, which he noted was not as competitive as Sainsbury's, where I previously worked as a driver for £13.95/h. He said that the rate for drivers and other general staff was £12.71/h which makes sense as the minimum wage, but when I looked it up I found that the average rate for a driver outside london was £13.65/h.

I'm just curious where the truth of this is and if any Asda online drivers would be willing to share their hourly rate so there's no confusion for me when I compare this job to other potential options. If you're unwilling to share it's obviously understandable.

Thanks everyone.
