Hi, i just want to vent and also hear your thoughts. I am currently employed in a company. I am diagnosed of Bipolar Disorder 2 MRE Anxious Distress. My doctor advised me to have prolonged sick leave earlier this year that lasted for 2 and a half months since I was high risk for suicide. I submitted all the necessary documents and I thought everything is fine. Until last week, my lead told me about a certain meeting regarding those absences. To me, it seems like it is a meeting regarding "notice to explain" which i find it weird since nagpasa naman na ako ng mga kailangan ko ipasa.
The meeting is all about a written report, stating na may "nilabag" daw ako na discipline code and it is refusal to mandatory onsite reporting. Which is weird since I have documentations and it was prolonged sick leave so paano yun naging refusal to report if advise na mismo ng doctor ko na kailangan ko ng pahinga. I asked them if is this is a disciplinary action. They told me na hindi daw pero pag "naulit" daw it can escalate to HR. To me, as a person who has bipolar disorder, knowing that this is episodic I am afraid of what might happen. Pag ba nirecommend ako ng doctor ko na magpahinga ulit dahil sa condtlition ko magkakaroon na ako ng record sa HR? Sorry but this is bothering me for almost a week already. I dont know what to do, since it somehow triggered me to s3lf h*rm again after being clean for a month.
