I’m a roofer and got injured on job on the 4th of April. Was told by Dr my work sent me to do light duty. Company was still having me work on roof with an injured finger. My workplace is based in AZ but was out of town in CA. I tested positive for marijuana which company was aware of when I got drug tested for workers comp. They continued having me work until we got back that Friday. Got back into town and was told to see HR and they fired me. I haven’t got any call from workers comp insurance company still a month later. What should do? My finger tip is still healing. I’m out a job and been looking for another. How can I prove I wasn’t high on the job? Marijuana stays in your system for awhile. Who do I call what do I do?
