Very Little Info From Cryptic Surgeon

I wrote to the Kaiser surgeon I consulted with, to get more specific information. He wrote:

"As for the amount of advancement. Every case is different but the general rule of thumb is to move your lower jaw forward at least 10 mm with the your jaw also coming forward but not as much because we would do a rotation to asking for this."

What does this mean, exactly?

And since Kaiser does not do any predictive images, I feel like this generalized info means I would be going into surgery with no idea of what results to expect.

Hello, beauties! I am extremely low maintenance (partially due to having a chronic illness, ADHD and a lot on my plate). My skincare routine is simply washing my face when i'm in the shower and wearing a mineral sunscreen. I have Tazerac, but I have not used it in several months. I am in my early 50's and I need to start taking care of my skin. I've done a little reading, and it seems that I should use a vitamin C and E serum in the mornings before applying my sunscreen.

I would really love suggestions on specific products and the order in which to use them. I think a routine with 2 or 3 products top for morning and evening is the most I can realistically keep up with.

My Details:

My skin is still pretty taut (the only good thing about years of having oily skin), but I have large pores with some orange peel texture on my lower cheeks, and I have some hypotrophic acne scars. I also am seeing for the first time a little sunspot on my cheekbone. I would like to get rid of it, or at least delay any further ones from developing.

I cannot stand the feel of anything heavy on my face and so in the past, I've had problems with vitamin C serums. I'm wondering if there's a spray mist that I could use (which would maybe not give me a lot of coverage, but be better than nothing).

I have severe OSA and have been approved for DJS. Dr. Hoang wants me to lose 30 pounds first. Since I have time to think about it, I'm wondering if I should shop around? I liked him but he has no before/afters to show me and didn't discuss aesthetics with me.

Does anyone have experience with Dr. Hoang?
