I'm sorry but Dan and Serena ARE END GAME!!! I'm so happy they ended up together.

Not sure why fans ship Dan and Blair so hard when it feels forced, and she spent 4 seasons bullying him and his family. I get he loved Blair but lets be real he was passionate about every girl he was with, but would only always go back to Serena

I just rewatched Gossip Girl and I’m honestly shocked by how many people say Blair was Dan's true love.

Dan was a passionate person in almost every relationship he had. He was passionate with Vanessa, Olivia, and even with Rachel. Dan falls hard and gets emotionally invested, which is part of his character.

But Serena was different since she was constant. She was the person he always came back to no matter how many relationships happened in between. The entire series starts with Dan being in love with Serena before they even really know each other, and despite everything, it ends with him choosing her.

People say Blair challenged him intellectually, but Blair also spent years looking down on Dan and bullying Jenny Humphrey. She mocked his family, his background, and treated him like an outsider for most of the show. Their relationship often felt like two people bonding over being lonely and displaced rather than some epic soulmate story.

Meanwhile, Serena was the person who shaped Dan’s entire world. He wrote about her, obsessed over her, and constantly measured other relationships against what he felt for her.

Was Dan and Serena messy? Absolutely. But messy does not mean loveless. Some of the strongest loves on that show were chaotic.
