Well, this guy seems like a larper, because Yuji gaining Shrine was hinted at from the very beginning by gojo.

Anyway, Shrine isn’t the topic here.

Yuji is honestly a victim of poor reading comprehension.

One look at Yuji from the very first episode or chapter was enough to realize that he had hidden potential that would eventually surface. All you needed was basic reading comprehension and a little experience watching anime.

You see a high school student with superhuman physical abilities and the power to suppress the King of Curses Sukuna, something Gojo said only appears once every thousand years, and you think all of that is just a coincidence?

Yuji was already registered in the Culling Game. coincidence? No...

Since 2020, I’ve been waiting for the reveal of Yuji’s secret. Even throughout the years, you’d constantly see posts here and there saying Yuji would eventually get an awakening/power up.

And in 2023, chapter 214 dropped, where Yuji suddenly gained a temporary surge of power that surprised Sukuna and made him question it himself. He eventually realized that Kenjaku’s involvement with the soul of his twin had something to do with it.

As you can also notice, Yuji’s eyes became spiral shaped in that chapter, similar to Sukuna’s eyes. Hmm… I wonder why.

Then chapter 256 comes out in 2024. Yuji awakens, and we see the same eye pattern from chapter 214 return.

I wonder why.

Then chapter 257 arrives, giving us a flashback explaining the awakening and what happened in chapter 214.

Uraume asks Sukuna about Yuji’s identity and why he sensed something similar to Sukuna within him ( back in ch 214 ), mentioning that Sukuna’s remnants alone weren’t enough to explain Yuji’s strength.

Sukuna responds by talking about Kenjaku, the reincarnation of his twin’s soul (Yuji’s grandfather), and the finger that had been sealed inside Yuji since birth.

Then Uraume wonders if that means Yuji has potential equal to Sukuna’s.

So through chapter 214, the final page of chapter 256, and chapter 257, it becomes pretty clear that whenever Yuji enters an awakened state, he becomes stronger, emits a presence similar to Sukuna’s, and manifests Sukuna like eyes, red eyes with circular rings.

What’s so hard to understand about this?

Of course, some people do understand it, but choose to cope about it for the sake of their agenda.

It was stated that he has potential equal to Sukuna’s because his grandfather is the reincarnation of Sukuna’s twin’s soul, and because one of Sukuna’s fingers had been sealed inside him since birth.

Who knows how far being blessed by the Black sparks and becoming a hybrid of humans and curses has taken him, and how far it will take him.
