Had 2 wisdom teeth removed today under IV sedation and apparently I urinated on myself during the procedure. 😭
I was super out of it waking up and didn’t fully process what they were saying until I looked down and realized my pants and part of my sweatshirt were soaked. The staff honestly handled it really kindly they already explained everything to my mom, helped me to the car, and even had a pad on the seat ready for me. They definitely didn’t shame me or make me feel uncomfortable, but I still feel SO embarrassed.
The weird part is I barely had anything in my bladder beforehand because I hadn’t had anything to drink, but I guess they were giving IV fluids during the procedure. Has this happened to anyone else with IV sedation/dental surgery? I know logically they probably see all kinds of things, but emotionally I’m mortified right now.
