Long story short I dated my gf who is now my wife for over 9 years. We broke up for 6 months and it was an ugly break up. We both made mistakes life has taught us to appreciate each other much more. We went back together and now married and stronger than ever. We are more mature and know what it takes to make it work
We have a friend that we knew from a very long time and she was aware of our break up and her herself went through an ugly break up herself but she didn’t go back to her bf. She is coming over our country and she asked us to meet her and I took her around the city and picked her from airport at 6 am since I am the one driving and my wife doesn’t.
My wife told me that while I was not there that she questioned her decision of us going together and she said that you gave up on yourself too easily and you can find someone better. She also said that you should be more independent and learn how to drive
I was very upset at her meddling with our life and passing those nasty comments . She is still in the city and don’t know how to react. If I stop seeing her it might look that It got into me but at the same time I can’t fake it and meet her again. My wife loves me and she defended me but I don’t know to deal with it ?
