I just need help from peoples own experience who have had lateral sphincterotomy surgery. I had mine done in December and I haven’t re torn till yesterday. Had a week off from work this week so haven’t kept up on my water and high fibre food intake.

The tear is no where near as bad as previous ones but I just feel like my world is ending right now. Does anyone have any experience of re tears after
surgery, did you find they healed up within a couple weeks like google has always promised? can someone also just reassure me that the surgery is a permanent way to loosen the muscles. I feel like I know all the right answers but I’m not thinking rationally right now and would appreciate some help, thank you all.
