I converted my stock M8 to a Draknight frame with a few 3d prints.

I flipped the AIO15 to be upside down to make the preinstalled motor plugs and the USB port easier to access. The settings in Betaflight to flip the board is Roll: 180 degrees and Yaw: 225 degrees.

To make clearance with the bottom of the frame (for the UFL connector and under-slung battery mount) , I used four 16mm M2 screws, four 5mm tall 4.5mm wide spacers, and four rubber flight controller grommets, secured at the top with four M2 nuts. This puts the FC roughly in the middle between the bottom plate and upper guard bars.

I shortened the battery lead slightly, and re-soldered it so that the lead goes towards the bottom of the frame.

The USB adapter fits through the top plate if you twist it sideways first. The ELRS antenna was also re-soldered on the reverse side (after I broke it off, it works on either side of the board)

The Lux camera adapter is fixed position, and like the top plate with 45 degree antenna mount, it snaps in place onto the frame without any glue or screws. The Lux camera itself also snaps into the adapter. The top plate has extra holes if you need another wire or two routed.

I used a TrueRC singularity antenna, but any UFL connector should be able to pass through the hole in the top plate if you wanted to mount something else. I had some trouble snapping in the new antenna, and I found the best way was to feed the antenna through the top plate antenna hole, and snap the UFL connector to the FC before anything else. Ensure you pre bend the antenna slightly to make clearance for the VTX programmer port (if you area also using the AIO15 from HD Zero).

Weight

Lux adapter is slightly less than 1 gram

Top plate is 1.2 grams

the four spacers together weigh about 0.1 grams

Total weight is 43.2 grams

If you decide to use the Lux mount or the antenna top plate let me know if you have any issues and I can rework the design.

I ended up printing the two-piece mount for the lux camera and Draknight frame from the post linked, but it seemed to bend the frame due to it being slight too wide. I designed a new one in Fusion as well as a top bracket for an antenna mount. After I do a flight test to make sure it flies ok (and I don’t need to revise it) I will post the print files if anyone wants to grab them. That being said, what’s the best way to share files? I want to upload it to the most common file sharing website for ease of use.
