Would you conisder this madness break?

Last night I played in person in a 14 person custom script with Mutant on it. I pulled Mutant, and ended up surviving until the end of the game confirmed good, which was neat.

I had been the Steward ping, who was also socially confirmed much of the game by a 'gambling' Assasin. So no one spent much time considering me evil which ended up a huge boon to town. I was only person not nomed final 4, and nominated the demon that day, getting them executed. (Yag script so final 4 could have been final day)

But the real question because several players, good and bad alike complained at the end/just after game I broke madness and should have been killed. But I don't think I did. I never claimed outsider, which is my ACTUAL madness. Nor did I let town think I was outsider, if they guessed ANY outsider I quickly said no. Often my answer to who are you was no. When gambler asked who they could gamble me as I said Don't. But I did not claim townsfolk or make up information. When town did red robin I passed. However after game I did read the wiki and it sounds like a storyteller maybe could maybe have executed me? Town did generally think I was probably the mutant, but I never agreed with them or allowed them to say it in my earshot, nor did I give meaningful pauses, wink, or otherwise not words say Im the mutant. I just refused to claim completely. I did at one point agree I was the minstrel to a character I don't think believed I was minstrel near final day.
