Hi. Just got a 2026 BMW I4. I’ve been charging via EA using the free charging benefit, tonight I tried to charge at home for the 1st time using the 240V flexible fast charger the car comes with. I plugged it in the nema 14-50 outlet we have in the garage. For some reason, the charger keeps stopping and I think it’s overheating. I had to change the current limit to 32A and it does the same thing. My question is- do yall actually just use the flexible fast charger to charge your i4 and unplug it from the outlet everytime you don’t use it? Or do yall actually have the bmw wall box installed by QMERIT? Thank you in advance.
