It’s been a while since I made my first post. To everyone who commented last time, thank you for the comments, suggestions, and encouragement. I thought it might be helpful to someone out there who might be interested in possibly purchasing a set of 255/85/r16’s for the 89-95 trucks. My truck has been my daily since 91.5. It wasn’t technically mine till I snagged it off my dad back in 04 but I was there when it came home new, rode it in, and drove it when I turned 16, you get the idea.

For reference, the lift is a 2” Dobinsons lift with Boosted and Built Garage upper and lower ball joints/spacer. The torsion bars are only tightened to support the added weight of the bumper and winch, not cranked up to add additional lift. Previously I ran the Yokohama Geolander MT’s. Great tire, light, and even wear. The down side was when the tread got low, the interior noise was awful. They still lasted for a little over two years of mostly highway miles. Due to the limited manufacturing availability of 255/85/r16’s this time I went with the Toyo. According to the spec, these are 33.5 in diameter, which is larger than the Yokohamas. Closer to BFG’s 34” for a 17” wheel. My wheels are off an 04 tundra I think, so whatever their backspacing is, I have no rub, lock-to-lock. These are just a few pounds heavier but I haven’t noticed a loss in power and the ride has been super smooth. I also have 4:30’s and a 3.4 swap. These only have 20 miles on them, so take that with a grain of salt. Hopefully this will be helpful to someone. They will fit no problems if you have or a looking for a similar set up.

Also, I added a few other pics of interior upgrades for those who might be thinking of the same and to the members who requested additional pics in my first post. If you have any questions or suggestions I will try to answer and appreciate the feedback.
