behind my house there is a large thicket of monstera and about half of it is covered in this stuff. its not technically my property but i would like to fix it up if possible. i notice only the older leaves are affected and im wondering if i can get this under control just by removing them. i had a guy look at it and he wants quite a bit of money to "clean it all off so it doesnt come back". that sounds like wishful thinking to me but what do you all say?
