So I’m a maid of honor in my best friend’s wedding later this year and I’m looking into getting my dress tailored. I found a local dry cleaner & tailor but I’ve never used this kind of service before so I’m unsure if I should call them about my inquiry before going there in person? Or should I just go there with my dress and tell them?

I know regardless I have to go there to drop off the dress, I just have really bad phone anxiety. I’m fine with calling places that I know I need to call like doctors offices, but anything outside of that I actively avoid calling anywhere.
