I’m currently switching from a fiancé visa to a spouse visa (FLR(M)) and filling in the family declaration / consent form, and I’m a bit confused about what I should be signing.
Part 1 is the applicant (my husband).
Part 2 is “Consent for the Home Office to verify third party information.” It says this is for when information or documents are in joint names and the joint owner must give consent for verification. It also mentions that it applies to joint accounts or jointly held documents.
However, we do not have any joint accounts or joint documents at all. Everything we are submitting is in my name only (the sponsor), mainly bank statements showing PIP and Universal Credit for adequate maintenance.
Part 3 is “Consent for the Home Office to verify information from third party sponsor.” It says the sponsor agrees to provide financial support to the applicant, that the Home Office may verify the information/documents provided, and that they can check it is genuine and correct. It also mentions disclosure of any discrepancies if needed.

So my question is:
Am I correct in signing Part 2, even though it’s clearly about joint accounts/documents and we don’t have any? And therefore leaving Part 3 blank, or should I actually be signing Part 3 instead as the sponsor?
Just want to make sure I’m not misunderstanding before submitting.

I know this might sound like an obvious question, but I think I’m massively overthinking it and just want to make sure I get it right 😅
I’m currently applying for a fiancé to spouse visa, and I’m stuck on this question:
“When did you last travel to the country where you were born and/or any other country whose nationality you hold?”
My partner is from the USA.
I’m confused about what counts as the “last travel” to the USA:

April 2025 — when he last returned to the USA after visiting me in the UK

February 2026 — when he left the USA to come to the UK on his fiancé visa (so technically the last time he was physically in the USA),

I feel like it should be April 2025 as that’s the last time he entered when he went back home , but I’m second guessing myself.
Has anyone answered this before or knows which date is correct?
Thanks in advance!

Hey everyone! I’m about to submit my FLR(M) spouse visa application (switching from a fiancé visa inside the UK) and I’ve made a full list of the documents I’m including (11 PDFs + a consolidated document PDF).

Before I submit everything, I just wanted to get a few second opinions from people who’ve done this recently, does it look like I’ve covered everything needed, or is there anything you think I should add or double check?

For context:
• I’m the UK sponsor
• I receive PIP + Universal Credit (applying under the financial requirement exemption)
• I live with my grandparents and don’t have financial responsibilities
• My partner is American and is currently in the UK on a fiancé visa, and we are now married and switching to FLR(M)

I’ve removed any personal details, just looking for advice on whether the list looks solid or if I’ve missed anything important.

I know every case is different, but I’d really appreciate any advice or reassurance. Thank you so much ❤️
