my girlfriend and i have been together for 5 years now, and have spent that time as strictly monogamous. i have been clear that i only wish for a monogamous relationship, nothing open or anything with other people, and in that time she agreed that was what she wanted too. she recently told me that a friend of hers asked if they could be in a queerplatonic relationship. she said that it would be something that she thinks would make her happy and that they have a deep bond but would only do things like holding each other and such
i feel hurt by this and it seems like she doesnt see why because she says its not romantic and so she thought it shouldnt be a problem. am i being unfair or insecure feeling upset by this or am i justified in feeling like this? im glad she didnt just go behind my back, but the way she talked about it admittedly bothered me, like saying she reciprocates what her friend is feeling. thank you in advance
