Got this hat recently for free, any idea whose sig this could be? Definitely an 80’s-90’s hat, just can’t make out the name or numbers.

Hey everyone, looking for some advice from TLX owners who’ve already gone down this route.

I’ve got a 2023 A-Spec and I’m starting to build it out with various upgrades (nothing performance-related, mostly cosmetic). As part of that, I want to install a front + interior dash cam setup.

Ideally this is for emergency footage such as: traffic stops, collisions and theft/theft prevention.

My priorities are:
- Super discreet install (ideally hidden behind the rearview mirror)
- Clean wiring (planning to hardwire)
- Good interior night visibility
- Set-it-and-forget-it reliability (not trying to constantly mess with it)

I’m currently considering options like Vantrue models, but I’d really prefer to hear from people actually running setups in their TLX.

A few questions:

  1. What dash cam are you running (front/interior)?
  2. How’s the fitment in the TLX specifically - easy to hide?
  3. Any issues with visibility, sensors, or placement near the mirror housing?
  4. If you hardwired it - did you DIY or go shop install?
  5. Anything you wish you did differently?

Also open to install pics if you’ve got them - trying to keep everything as OEM-looking as possible.

Appreciate any input 🙏
