Malkin swipe at Vladar's back
Anyone else catch that ugly ass ogre on his dirty shit last night? He was pretty busy hackin and whackin all night but one I didnt see mentioned during the broadcast was his nasty little swipe to Vladar's back.
He drove the net hard while tied up with Seeler I believe as Vladar made the stop on a shot. As him and Seeler battle while heading towards Vlad w both of their sticks end up tangled and in the air... the play ends with no rebound and instead of Malkin bringing his stick down to ice level like a normal person he leaned on it full force and swiped right at Vladards backside on the numbers. Little padding there, im sure he felt it. Very similar to the Dahlin play earlier this year when he got suspended.
Keep that ugly scumbag away from Vlad in game 3 please

The Shift: Owen Tippett edition.
Idk if anyone remembers those "The shift" commercials the NHL used to make where they'd highlight otherworldly shifts from a player (Mike Richards vs MTL, Giroux G7 vs BOS were ones) but this one would fit right with those.
I can't get over the play. At that speed to see 1 pen coming from above, sense one on your back & then somehow backwards self pass it then dance letang (fck that guy forever) & to top it all off he falls to one knee, keeps control then gets skinner + kindle to totally bite on the shot fake before dishing it to 19 for a tap-in.
There are honestly probably only 10-15 players in the world who could make that play.
I also forgot to mention he did all that SHORTHANDED.
Idk if he'll ever fully piece it together, but this dudes best is ridiculously good & he's putting on a show thru 2 games while being banged up.

Owen Tippett is a beast.
I like many have said multiple times over the last year we should trade him.
Watching these last 25 games + 2 playoff games & I think I'm changing my tune.
This dudes a tank. He's made Erik Karlsson look like he's never skates before... Erik Karlsson....
Add in he's annihilated at least 3 pens and he's having himself a fricken series so far.
I'm so ready for him to blow someone up Wednesday.

They are so upset that the Penguins are getting wrecked. Finding every excuse to talk bad on the Flyers, but can't back anything up.
