Back in 2023, I made a withdrawal from my 401(k) to make my initial down payment on my new house. When I was filing my tax return in 2024, I didn't know that I was going to receive a 1099-R form, and didn't fill out those fields when filing.

I got a letter today from the IRS saying my return and their records didn't match (obviously) and I now owe taxes. I acknowledged that I messed up filing my taxes that year and made an account on their website to set up a payment plan for it, but when I logged into it, it says that I don't have a balance due and that I don't have any notices or letters on file. Is it because I just did all of this today and need to wait for it to update, or is it something else?
