4 hours Shift?

Somone mentioned you can ask for 4 hour shifts if youre unwell instead of taking the whole time off. Is this right? Also is this in the handbook? I can’t seem to access OneAsda at the moment.

Can someone respond if you know? It also said you can get paid full for it?

Asda Occupational Health

Do you have to be refered by a manager? Or can you do it your self? Also how long does it take for them to get back to you?

Can any manager do this, or does it have to be your manager specifically?

Hi everyone, I’m currently going through a bit of a health crisis and I can't seem to log into OneAsda to check the handbook, so I’m hoping someone here can help.

I have 4 years of service. Last time I checked the policy, the Company Sick Pay (CSP) allowance was 8 weeks for colleagues with under 5 years of service, and 12 weeks for those with over 5 years. Has this policy changed recently?

Also, regarding the 52-week rolling period: I took some time off at the end of October (about 7 weeks) and another week in December, totaling 8 weeks. It will be 6 months since that period in just a few days.

Does this mean my 8-week "bank" is currently empty? If I am signed off by my GP now for a hypertensive crisis, will I only receive SSP, or does the rolling period refresh in a way that allows for more CSP?

Any help or clarification from the handbook would be greatly appreciated as I'm currently dealing with severe hypertension and kidney concerns. Thanks in advance.
