Please help find a job
Hey Denver,
I’m putting my pride to the side and asking for some local advice or reality checks because I am genuinely stuck.
I recently relocated out here with my wife and kids, ready to hit the ground running. I have an active CO gaming support license and a strong background managing fast-paced floor operations, logistics, and personnel. I thought I was a lock for the casinos up in Black Hawk, but I just bombed my table auditions. I didn't get the offers I was counting on, and now I'm back to square one.
I’m in a tight spot, sending out a massive volume of applications and getting instantly rejected by the automated systems.
I know exactly why the algorithms are tossing my resume: it is incredibly choppy. Foreign management experience, then computer science, then table games dealer.
What I bring and what I'm looking for:
- The Work: Active, hands-on operations management, shift supervision, logistics, or high-level hospitality.
- Target Income: I have a family to support, so I'm aiming for management-level compensation commensurate with my operational experience.
- Availability: I am completely open to, and actually prefer, working night shifts.
If anyone knows of companies hiring for high-energy operations roles, or has any connections at places like DIA, Amazon management, or local logistics hubs that will actually look at a human being instead of an algorithm, I would be incredibly grateful.
Thanks for reading.
