I transferred to my old store with the promise they would be moving me to full time. Now to come and find out that they are giving it to someone else. I talked to my lead and she was even upset about it due to the fact that she even put in a good word for me with the mangers but what they said was they didn’t think I could handle the responsibility. I get it I’m young. I’m the youngest in my department and yes I’m a mom. Two things I have worked for publix for ten years this year and been five almost six years in the department I have worked under more mangers then most I have been with the department and I’m the one of the only other people still there besides the lead. I transferred briefly to another store in town but mainly worked at current store that’s why I transferred back to make it easier on everyone. I’m now unsure how to respect my go to my mangers and lay out how I feel. I have been looking at other jobs and even transferring departments at this point since it’s clear I have no respect in this place. I literally just don’t know how to say anything with out crying. I literally was so pissed over hearing my manger and department supervisor talking about giving the other person full time that I literally said I needed to use the restroom and cried in the bathroom. I have talk to my lead and she says I should be straight with the manger since a lot of this is her doing. Help very much okay
