Quite simple thought in fact: We see in Ukraine that the side with more overall drone output tends to have the edge, while we also see that Iran punches significantly above its weight while the US struggles economically to keep up the fight due to their munitions (both offensive and defensive) burning a hole in the nations budget as well has being ridiculously restrained in supply.

Hence, if a non-nuclear conflict between China (the mother of all mass-production hubs) and the US (being stuck in the chokehold of its defense industries commercial interests) erupted today, the sheer volume of drone-warfare being emitted by China would overwhelm the United States.
