I’m writing this out of sheer frustration with Flipkart’s pathetic after-sales service. I bought a Lloyd AC during the exchange offer, and it’s been a nightmare ever since.
Timeline of Events:
18th April: Order placed (with exchange).
26th April: AC delivered.
27th April: Original installation date. No one called, no one showed up.
30th April: After raising a complaint, customer care promised a resolution. Nothing happened.
5th May: Rescheduled date. Again, a no-show.
6th May: Same story.
The Gaslighting:
The worst part is the messages I’m receiving. Every time they fail to show up, I get an SMS saying: "As per your request, we have rescheduled your installation to [Next Date]." I never requested a single reschedule. I have been waiting at home for them. They are essentially manipulating their internal metrics to make it look like the delay is on the customer's end rather than their service failure.
Now it’s 7th May, and I’ve received the same "as per your request" message again. It has been nearly two weeks since delivery, and I’m sitting with a box in my room and an old AC that’s probably already been disconnected or is waiting for exchange.
Has anyone else faced this? How do I get them to actually send a technician instead of just sending automated messages?
TL;DR: Flipkart/Lloyd service is stuck in an infinite loop of rescheduling my AC installation and lying in the SMS that I requested the delay. Avoid buying large appliances here if you actually want them installed this summer.
