I think of these panels often. To me, this is peak X-Men storytelling. The ambition, and execution are exceptional; Hickman and Larraz are both bringing their A game. The stakes are as high as they get, the art is incredibly cinematic, and the words fall just shy of poetry. House of X came out of the gate swinging, I wish they had stuck the landing!

Adamas Machina Predaking is every bit as cool as they say. The individual Predacons are aggressively meh, but combined? He's a work of art.
