Pion Referral code

Referral code: PIONPOWERVKGJAT2

With the Canadian Clean Fuel Regulations (CFR), polluters are literally paying EV owners to charge. I’ve been testing the options and right now Pion Power + GreenMiles is the most aggressive program available in late 2025.

Why I chose GreenMiles:
-10¢ per kWh reward rate (most competitors only pay ~3¢)
-$20 sign-up bonus with referral
-No annual fees or deposits
-Charger will pay for itself
-After Year 1 earnings are pretty similar across programs, but from Year 2 onward you’ll be roughly $400 ahead per year with the higher rate.

Pion Power Chargers
I got mine cheapest at Rona online — definitely check there first for the best price.
They offer two models:
Flex-AC (Standard) – ~$240–$270
Flex-AC Elite – ~$310–$370
Key Differences:
Elite supports native Plug & Charge (car starts automatically when plugged in)
Standard requires a 24h schedule workaround
Elite has Bluetooth + Wi-Fi (easier setup)
Both only connect to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi (not 5 GHz)
Go Standard if you’re tech-savvy. Go Elite if you want maximum simplicity.

Referral code: PIONPOWERVKGJAT2

Sign up with this and activate charging → you get 200 points ($20) bonus.

How It Works
In the CFR program, Polluters buy credits from your charging sessions. GreenMiles currently offers the highest payout. Rates are market-driven and have been strong in Ontario/Quebec.

Get paid to charge EV - Pion Power Referral Code

Pion Power Flex-AC With Greenmiles (CANADA)

Get paid to charge with evcharging? sure... with CFR in canada - the polluters are paying you to charge. They buy your credits but I went with Pion Power.. Why??

Based on the current market in late 2025, the most aggressive offer available is with pion power and greenmiles.

These reward programs are essentially making the "fuel" even cheaper—or potentially even free.

Why I went with GreenMiles compares to the others right now. I estimate after 6 months or so charger is paid off. After a year - the $$ earned is about the same for all of them. But in Year 2 - you'll be ahead about $400. and every year.... Code for the referral bonus:

Referral Code: PIONPOWERWN1KWKF
When you sign up for the GreenMiles and activate charging, you will receive 200 points.($20)

# Comparison (Dec 2025)

Feature GreenMiles ChargeLab Grizzl-E Club SWTCH
Reward Rate 10¢ per kWh 3¢ per kWh 3¢ per kWh 3¢ per kWh
Sign-up Bonus $20 (Referral) $25 (Welcome) None None
Hardware Must buy Pion Power (cost below) Bring your own (OCPP) Wallbox, Autel, Siemens VersiCharge, Emporia, Grizzl-E Smart Deposit ($300+) returns after 4000kwh charged Deposit ($300) returns after 1500kwh charged
Annual Fee $0 $0 They just rolled back the fee. it used to be $120 (Year 2+) $0
Payout Style $100 min / yearly Digital Gift Cards / $5 min quarterly Cash / Points / $10 min unsure freq $100 within 15 days

So you decided Pion Power is right for you. but you see both types of chargers on their site. The only difference I have noticed..:

# Pion Power Flex-AC vs. Flex-AC Elite

**Feature** **Flex-AC (Standard)** **Flex-AC Elite**
**"Plug & Charge"** Requires a schedule workaround. **Supported natively.**
**Workaround** Must set a 24-hour schedule (e.g., 12:00 AM – 11:59 PM) to keep the "gate" open for the car to pull power at any time. Intelligent control allows the car to start charging whenever it’s plugged in without app intervention.
**Setup** Wi-Fi only. **Bluetooth + Wi-Fi** (Much easier pairing to wifi).
**Price (Approx)** $240 – $270 $310 – $370
**Best For** Cheapos People that might mess up tech. Makes setup easier

For both chargers - ensure to only try to connect to 2.4G networks. The chargers are not 5G enabled and will fail to connect to these.

# How can companies pay you to charge your EV?

Government program (CFR) is on the books until 2030 so highly likely this will stick around. Only big question is if new programs pop up with better earnings /coupons or if Green Miles will reduce.

As of 2025 - the avg cost for payout is about 10cents/kwh for the CFR program in quebec/ontario with Highs of upwards of 30cents/kwh. It is demand based as polluters need to bid for credits to offset their carbon footprint. I believe the max allowed is about 30cents/kwh. Other provinces pull this average down as their kwh are more polluting hence not worth as much. But nothing to think about on the consumer side as the companies average this out.

2026+ is probably going to be on the high end of the payout per kwh for the CFR credit which is why pion power can do this. If they keep up with being the market leader - they could increase the price per kwh.... But who knows. Also - the companies can't just keep this money. they actually have to reinvest it into EV charging sites or EV technologies. So its not just pure profit for them. Also probably why such a high return for Pion Power as they make their money upfront with the chargers / some to administer the program probably - and don't have a charging business like switch or chargelab.

▲ 86 r/budgies

Did I mention Berry(left blue one) has 3 boyfriends?

Like she’s their boss. She picks who she wants to chill with and if one of them is too close to her and she isn’t feeling it, she scares em away

What type of budgies are these 2

These budgies were in another persons home for 5 years and they were very aggressive and untamed. The other people never spent time with them.

I adopted them and added them to my cage with a female budgie.

What type of budgies are these? Especially the turquoise one
