What am I supposed to feel during plank extension?

Just 18 classes in, so still learning. I “get” the bungee, and the lunges, and even the obliques, but for the life of me I do not get what I am supposed to “work” during high or low plank extensions. My shoulders just feel awkward… Any advice? I have not got around to asking the coach, but will do that too. Thank you.
