Hi everyone, among the ongoing issues, i observed one more. I had joined first job in 2011 with both epf and eps contributions due to low wages. In March 2014, i withdrew the epf amount but eps amount wasn't withdrawn and is still reflecting in the passbook today as well.

But, while exploring the website today, I noticed in my service history that pf Bois have marked eps closed. Is this correct? Just withdrawing epf amount will close eps? If anyone can guide on what can be done. This has caused quite a bit of confusion among all my employers.

Hi everyone,

I had joined my job in 2011 with low salary.. about 9k basic. So the employer was doing eps contributions. I had withdrawn my epf amount in 2014 and eps remained as is and it's still visible in the passbook. Nil contribution between 2014-2017.

Post mba, in 2017, I joined with higher salary. I initiated pf transfer last month but it was rejected with the below reason

"eps membership as wages on doj is more than statutory wages. Please contact employer."

I think everything is correct only as my current employer is still doing eps and even the previous employers kept doing it. Failing to understand what should be my next step. My current employer doesn't entertain much and asks to reach out to the previous one. Can someone guide, please.
