hey guys, i’m a teen trying to get into cassettes but i have absolutely no idea what i’m doing
i’m on a budget, like under $25 or is that like not realistic, and looking for a cassette player that’s not super chunky and preferably more square-ish (like the old walkman vibe).
also i kinda don’t want the big headphones they used back then… earbuds would be way better (im trying to be nonchalant).
bluetooth would be cool but not required, and being able to record music would be awesome too (though honestly that part is future-me’s problem).

i tried to ask chatgpt be at the end of the day he dosent have ears so hes just kinda, inexperienced in the field lol
