Hello

We are a Muslim family from Germany and are expecting a son. What do you guys think of the name Idris (the second i being long, Idrees)?

He will have a German last name and we dont want his first name to sound like Ali or Mohammad (an obvious Muslim name) and want the name to be easy pronounced.

What do you think about this name? Do you have others in mind that could be good as well?
