🤧 Compulsory taxing was brought by Umayyad Caliphate (as Jizyah) and British Monarchy (as Income Tax Act and other product taxes/duties) to plunder Indian wealth and subjugate us. Mahameghavahana Dynasty of Kalinga made their kingdom tax-free welfare state, yet their kingdom remained a very prosperous one in their times with flourishing maritime trade. Odisha's largest maritime trade fest Bali jatra is attributed to them. Taxing the rich, middle class or poor or anyone does nothing, the rich will increase product price to make up for the tax and the poor will be burdened in both the cases. Romer & Romer research "The Macroeconomic Effects of Tax Changes" support the narrative that lower/neligible taxes improve economy.

Peace and providence be upon you.
I am from India and have been gradually practicing Islam for some months. The discipline in the religion and his providence has helped me overcome procrastination and achieve success in academics, and I am very greatful to him. I have a slight confusion about forbiddance of yoga and ayurveda, and was unable to find a clear guidance, so have come hear for your guidance.
Before chosing the discipline of Islam, I used to practice yoga and ayurveda routinely everyday. Specifically, I used to apply a blend of neem oil and coconut oil upon my body as preventive care for acne and tinea, and perform cow-face pose and shoulder stand for backpain.
I watched a video by sheikh Assim al Hakim, in which he informs that these are forbidden because these are imitation of pagan faiths, and one becomes pagan by behaving like them. In another video by sir Zakir Naik, I got informed that these are forbidden because these practices were dedicated to pagan gods. This is where I am confused. The modern medical science became standard through Christians colonialists and globalists, many of which took the Greek pagan hippocratic oath, and their hospital system has Greek pagan origins. The gym culture has roots Greek pagan gymnasia, who dedicated it to Greek pagan gods Hermes and Heracles. Yet, these have become an apparent standard among most of the Muslims.
My main doubt is that if Greek pagan systems can be practiced by Muslims solely for health benefit, by sanitizing idolatory, why can't Indian ones?
Sincerely thankful for your time and advice.
