NBI Door-to-door delivery POOR SERVICE, Almost SCAM! NEVER AGAIN!
Taking it here, because I am personally experiencing the poor service.
Placed the request for renewal: 04 May 2026
Paid: 04 May 2026
Approval with Digital ID via EgovPH app: 05 May 2026
I sent a follow up email to DeliveryBox: 08 May 2026
Update from the delivery (via DeliveryBox): 08 May 2026 -- stating "FOR PICK UP BY THE COURIER".. so ano ngyari from May 5 to May 7??? At hindi ito na-update kung hindi ko pa inemail!
FRUSTRATING isn't it? So I checked the reviews here sa Reddit and voila! PURO NEGATIVE! As in from two weeks to two months ang waiting period kahit within Greater Metro Manila, to think na approved na within 24 hours yung clearance mo.
Some insights:
I believe there is something wrong with the system. Unfortunately, the Bureau had to add another layer (yung Deliverybox) before a dedicated service courier (e.g. LBC). Bakit hindi na lang dumirecho ang NBI sa LBC. Also, yung FSI na courier na inaassign nila sa Greater Manila Area ay SOBRANG BAGAL (based sa mga reviews).
I also compared having transaction with the LBC, cheaper na and mas malayo yung distance and nakuha ko kagad yung item. Itong sa NBI, pakatagal na ang mahal pa.
Sobrang nakaka frustrate!!
SCAM level ang datingan ng Door-to-door delivery!
Unreasonable! So sad that this is in light of the ongoing corruption controversies in the country!
I already sent an email to FSI (courier assigned), DeliveryBox, and cc'd ang NBI Director Office, given na nagplace ako ng order by May 4 tapos May 8 lang ako binigyan ng update na "for pick up na ng dispatch courier". MY GOD!!!! Hindi naman kabayo ang gamit sa panahon ngayon DBA???
BUT they really need to be called out sa social media.
