First I want to say that I liked the movie for what it was and had a great time, but the movie for me is easily a 6.5 out of 10. The people saying the pacing was better than Bohemian Rhapsody is head scratching. This is my biggest gripe with the movie, it was constantly jumping from scene to scene from era to era without depth. At least with Bohemian Rhapsody they took time with the development of the album “A Night at the Opera”. The Off the Wall (no Rock with You was diabolical 🙄) and Thriller scenes were rushed, you never got the feeling how gigantic these records were. Another point, is that they shouldn’t have cut out the Wiz. The writers could’ve done it without showing Diana Ross. This is how Quincy Jones and Mike met.
