Hi everyone! My sister and I have been training for Rim2Rim in late October, but given the North Rim shutdown happening on October 15th, we are looking to adjust our plans.

So far, I have been considering:

• South Kaibab > Phantom Ranch > Bright Angel
• South Kaibab Trail > Tonto Trail > Bright Angel
• I also was reading about The Grandview Loop but I'm not sure quite how that fits in.

Does anyone have any opinions on these choices? it seems like the first one will be longer and more R2R-like, but I would love to hear about your favorite loops that don't involve the north rim. Thank you all so much!! :)
