I always remembered the artists name Dua Lipa's name to be Dupa Lupa

I must have just jumped timelines because I always knew Dua Lipa's artist name to be Dupa Lupa. I saw an article about her today and they mentioned the name Dua Lipa and that's honestly the first time I ever heard someone call her that name. It's scary that the entire time that was her name but that was never her name before but now it is

I took my S21 Plus phone to get the charging port repaired. It's the only issue I have with my phone. They examined my phone and quoted me $80 for the repair.

I came in the next day for the repair, and I asked about a cosmetic issue on the back of the phone where beach sand had scratched the glass, just in case in the future I wanted to make it look prettier. They told me they couldn't honor the $80 quote anymore and I now needed a full phone repair which included the glass. I told them I could only afford the port repair and I was ok with the scratched back glass. I was just curious about repairing it in the future.

They told me they would not repair my phone unless I repaired everything on the phone they thought needed to be repaired, regardless of whether it was related to the charging port. This was at the Glendale Samsung store in the Glendale Galleria. Everyone in the store was rude. One of the employees started yelling at me because I asked to speak to the technician again to get advice on what to do with the port.

This experience makes me never want to buy another Samsung device again. Making it corporate policy to upsell multiple repairs unrelated to the issue you came in for is shady and predatory.

I gave up and told them I would just buy a new phone, which they reportedly had in stock, a black A36, which had been confirmed beforehand. The manager of that store pretended the phone in that color was no longer in stock. They basically misled me until I left the store.

If they had been friendly and helpful, they would have made a new phone sale, but their rude behavior was very unprofessional.
