Jhons parents are not stupid. They saw through her. They have given him a final ultimatum: If he marries this girl, they are clawing back everything.
They will sell the cars he drives, kick him out of the family home, and cut off every cent of his funding. He will go from a life of luxury to having absolutely nothing. But jhon still chooses her.
Jhon is blinded. He thinks this is a "true love vs. the world" story.
