Doctor said it might be a warts but too small to tell, should I see someone else?

M20, had unprotected sex for the first time in a year. Happened 4 days ago then noticed today. It’s possible it may have been there longer. It was a university doctor (not to discredit them), but I’m still unsure. No itching, discomfort or anything like that. Really need help, not sure what to believe even after the screening. Is this HPV or Herpes?
