I really love using custom Tailored Styles with nice backdrops (like my underwater theme). But there’s one big pain point:

Right now it’s very inconvenient to have a beautiful custom style that works well both day and night.

What would be perfect:

The ability to manually create and set two versions of the same style — one for Light mode and one for Dark mode.
The document automatically switches between these two versions depending on the current system appearance.

Because:

At night I open a document and bright colors literally burn my eyes.
During the day dark styles become hard to read and don’t look as good as they could in light mode.

I don’t see this feature anywhere in the current Style editor. It would be really great if you added the ability to define separate Light and Dark variants inside one Tailored Style (with an automatic switch based on system theme).

This would make custom styles so much more practical and enjoyable for everyone who works at different times of the day.

Does anyone else have the same problem? Would love to see this implemented!
