Hello, I am going to be reduced my 1650 square foot house in Arizona as I am moving my ac off the roof. Brick walls with ventilated attic.

Do you guys have any thoughts on a ducted mini split system vs the standard central heat pump with an air handler?

I prefer a system that is simpler and easier to repair, as I plan to move out of the house and make it a rental in 5 or so years.

Also curious if you have thoughts on manufacturers on them, it seems install is what matters.

Considering Trane, aciq, Mitsubishi, lg, or Goodman.

Seems like single stage is better if I want simple repairs?
