Does anyone in the UK have any idea how I can get oral minoxidil prescribed as a female? I’m really at a loss now with my hair. I take 100mg spiro & ive been on and off with topical minox but my work pattern / lifestyle make it tricky to be consistent. Whereas a tablet would just be so much easier.

I went to my gp 6 months ago but he refused because they said they don’t offer it and there’s too many side effects.

I’m well aware of any potential side effects, I’ve done my research for the last year now and I’m ready to take the plunge. It’s my body, my hair, and I’m fed up of MEN telling me no.

Hoping for some advice / help.

The last year or so I’ve noticed my under eye skin texture has changed a lot. I now have these long li es that almost droop into a C shape under both my eyes. I have no idea what’s caused these. I know it’s only certain lighting where these are noticeable, when I look directly forward in daylight my skin looks normal and clear, but when I’m indoors / certain lighting they are really obvious. I’ve added photos to show the differences.

I’m only 25 and I’m really fixating on this each day, it’s causing me some insecurity and I know I’ve asked people if they can see them irl and they say slightly but there not even bad… but for me as a girl, when I notice something I don’t like, I can’t unsee it.

Context: I did get a smidge of tear trough filler last year and honestly, I think it made my over eyes look worse, almost lumpy. So I got this dissolved about 5 months ago. Anyway I feel like I’m back to square one if not worse

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, ideally I’d rather avoid injectables again because I’m scared lol but if I have to, I certainly will
