My friend got 2 budgies from his parents as a early Christmas present, if I remember correctly I don't think he ever even asked for birds, but the main point is the cage is to small, there's not much inrichment, they have all technical needs like bath and cuddle bone but that's it, and one bird was flying funny after a fight and the parents wouldn't take it to the vet, I also just found out that the birds butt was clogged with poop and food but the parents just cleaned it up and didn't take it to the vet, I kept telling my friend that the bird absolutely needs a vet if it can't fly without falling . Now that bird is dead and the other surviving one is apparently shaking, the parents refuse to remome it, how the hell do I help this poor bird, I think he convinced his dad to get better stuff for it cause it's mainly the mom that doesn't wanna take it to the vet, I've sent him links to cheap cages that are big , but I cannot take the bird or care for it l9ng term, so I really wanna know if you all have any ideas?( that won't ruin my friendship with my friend,)
