The Google Sheet is great and whoever made it is dev manus indeed, but I've been thinking about whether we can take it a step further.

Current flow for most of us: open sheet → find seller → WhatsApp → wait for reply → ask price → maybe check another seller → repeat. It works but sellers take time to reply and from the seller side they're getting flooded with messages from different places and half of them are just enquiries that go nowhere.

What I'm thinking of building is a simple site where all verified community sellers are listed, you can see prices, available quantities and delivery times side by side, and order directly without needing to WhatsApp anyone. Sellers would get a basic dashboard to manage their inventory which also updates automatically when an order comes through the site.

To keep it running I'd charge a small platform fee still figuring out the exact structure and honestly wanted to ask the community what feels fair. Should it come from the seller side only, split between buyer and seller, or some other way? What would make you comfortable using something like this over the current sheet?

Not building anything yet just want to know if this friction is actually a problem for people here or if the sheet works fine enough that nobody really needs this.

If you're a seller or decanter here and open to a quick chat about how you currently manage orders, DM me. Be honest if you think this is a bad idea too, that's more useful to me than empty encouragement.
