How long have you known, the person you consider your newest friend? This is something I curious about as a matter of perspective. Both for myself and for others coming here for advice. When I was young, I would meet people, and in a matter of minutes or hours call them a friend. And that friendship could end just as quickly. As I got older, those people became more acquaintances. Now I must honestly say, the newest person I would call a friend is my neighbor across the street. We've only known each other a decade or so.
