I think I just got skipped ahead by reloading the checkpoint mid jump.
So I just finished chapter 6, on the first transition bridge towards chapter 7. Just motorslicing my way over there and accidentally pressed jump, then attack and reset the checkpoint.
Did I just skip chapter 7 entirely?
